Eureka Balloon Launch

This morning Jean and I went out to the Eureka Airport to watch the hot air balloon launch.  They need crew members to help unpack, unfold, and inflate the balloons.
I was on the crew of a balloonist from Elko.  It was amazing how big the balloons looked inside as they inflated.
Our balloon launched!  (No... I was not on it.  A couple celebrating their 35th anniversary were carried up into the blue sky.)  It was really interesting and fun to help launch a hot air balloon.

Thank You, Kids! (A new view of our world!)

First I want to thank my children for the digital game camera.  It is a Moultrie A-5.  As you can see it has given us eyes into the nocturnal activity of our little property in Eureka, NV.

We have now lived in Eureka for 14 years.  We arrived here on July 24, 2000... Pioneer Day.  I believe this is the longest we have lived in one place during our marriage... and may be longest I have lived anywhere in my life.

Maybe I should begin thinking of Eureka as my home...
