This morning Jean and I went out to the Eureka Airport to watch the hot air balloon launch. They need crew members to help unpack, unfold, and inflate the balloons.
I was on the crew of a balloonist from Elko. It was amazing how big the balloons looked inside as they inflated.
Our balloon launched! (No... I was not on it. A couple celebrating their 35th anniversary were carried up into the blue sky.) It was really interesting and fun to help launch a hot air balloon.
What an exciting experience to be part of the balloon crew. I got to ride in a hot air balloon once and it was exhilarating!
