My New Seer Stone

With all the talk of seer stones, here's my latest.  I found it yesterday on my walk.

In it I see the billions of years of rock formation, plate tectonics, erosion.  I see civilzations rising and falling as this rock was formed in an ocean, lake, or river bed.  I see human evolution of brains and tools growing together to change the face of the earth... we began to play God when we first picked up a stone or a stick.

I see the analogy of this stone to me.  I too am ordinary.  There is nothing really special about me; but maybe I might catch the attention of someone for a moment or two before throwing back into the gravel.

This stone caught my eye, I picked it up and carried it home.  It sits on my desk today, tomorow I will place it in my garden.  And when I see it I will remember today.
